Thank you! I desaturated the first few (I think I made five more and then couldn't decide which to post), and then got tired of it and left some of the skin tones in. :D

That's why I say , half the job is done when you've chosen the right screencaps ! Not to discredit you or any thing because a pro icon maker always first chooses the best starting material .
The icons look so awesome and fit the provided palette to a P.

But you are right! Choosing the right cap and the right emotions for the coloring is absolutely key. I often still fail after that when it comes to crop. :D
