Man, such great stuff here! You really do keep the colours so clean and unmuddied in these icons, it makes me want to try and make my own palette icons a bit more stark as well (stark in a very good way!!). Agreeing that I love the colour gradient work you've done on icon three, but I really love the second one as well. Such a dynamic pose offset so nicely by the sharp balance of colours!
AAHHH!thank you for the high compliment!:D The 3rd one was a struggle because the green/red wasn't coming out great,it was a bit of trial and error really. The 2nd one already had a very light coloured BG so it was easy to turn it into B&W,then colour the inside of it green with a 'colour' layer in photoshop. :D
That dress in the first one! <3 I love the coloring in the second one, very snappy! And I'm impressed how sharp the third one looks despite the soft vibrant gradient. That looks hard!
Hehe!That 3rd one was...quite the trial and error work. It was very muted and soft but I wanted her to stand out so worked on the sharpness+overlays and somehow it worked!
